  Excellent.
  I've had dinners, lunches and even got married here - and have always appreciated the hotel.
  It's a short walk from the centre of Bath, but feels a world away. Quiet, relaxed and perfect, friendly service.
  If you want to go full-bore with a four-poster bed, 7-course Michelin-starred dinner, day in the spa and maybe a raid on their wine-cellar - they've got you covered - and you will most definitely pay.
  If you simply wish for a good 3-course lunch, it's a very reasonable £30 - almost cheap with the appetisers/amuse-bouche appearing.
  The £30 will of course creep up if you decide to have a drink on the terrace (picture below) before, maybe a bottle or some well matched glasses of wine with your meal, a coffee with petits fours afterwards before a wander in the garden.
  But, and I personally really appreciate this, these are just 'options' subtly made available to you. There's no hard-sell.
  Moreover, these options are fairly priced (within the realm of Michelin) to the extent of trust. E.g. I wasn't *planning* on that dessert wine, but now you've asked, that would really hit the spot and "I'd like a glass of whatever you recommend" - I looked at it on the bill, just to see what it was.
