  There is much to be positive about the Lansdown Grove Hotel. First of all the staff, which were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Some of the accomodation needs upgrading but on the whole was comfortable with plenty of hot water when needed. Dependant on who you book with it was either good value or a little overpriced. Two grumbles concern the charges when you leave your car in the car park, charged per day which is somewhat penny pinching when you pay in excess of £125.00 per night B&B. The other grumble is the cost of the evening meal and the actual menu. I regret that the choice and limitations in vegetables really need looking at and one night in the restaurant was enough. Having said all that and now knowing what we do, I would go back if only to be looked after by the staff
